Clyde joined our practice in 2012 caring for our patients in our clinic. In 2017, he became the Director of Advance Practice Providers and developed the Razzack and Associates Nurse Practitioner Program at Houston Methodist West. In 2019, expanded the Nurse Practitioner Program to Houston Methodist Continuing Care Intensive Care.
He is responsible for developing, maintaining, and revising the advance practice provider program with The Respire Institute and cares for our patients in the Intensive Care Units and Intermediate Care Units at Houston Methodist West and Houston Methodist Continuing Care, and in our practice clinics. Clyde began his nursing career in 1996 and graduated from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston with a Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2010.

Our Nurse Practitioners are able to independently perform comprehensive health assessments, order and interpret the full spectrum of diagnostic tests and procedures, use a differential diagnosis to reach a medical diagnosis, and order, provide, and evaluate the outcomes of interventions.
In addition, our nurse practitioners are able to perform a variety of procedures in the various settings in which they practice. Our Nurse Practitioners work together with the medical and hospital staff in a multidisciplinary approach to care for our patients.
Our Nurse Practitioner Program
Dr. Jamal Razzack has been incorporating nurse practitioners into his practice since 2012; as his practice grew, so did the need for well trained and experienced nurse practitioners.
In 2017, as Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit at Houston Methodist West, he started the Razzack and Associates Nurse Practitioner Program. Our Nurse Practitioners provide care and services 24 hours a day, every day of the year at Houston Methodist West and Continuing Care Hospital.
